Just back from beautiful Camp McKall. I got selected along with 117 others from the 299 we started with. Wow is all I got to say. Much thanks to the members of this site for the free knowledge and to Warrior-Mentor for his book. I followed it to a T and made it through Selection blister and injury free. For those waiting to go, if you dont have How to Get Selected buy it and follow it now. I got assigned to train for 18D and Arabic as my language. Now the hard part begins right?

Good job! You have your foot(blister free) in the door. Now it gets serious.

Congrats guys.

The journey is just beginning, especially for you 18D Candidates. Start on your language stuff NOW, continue to do PT, study hard, and never lose sight of the 25m target. You do that and you will be walking across the stage before you know it.

Listen to Cric!!! 25 Meter targets is all you need to know. KEpp doing PT, lift weights, get out and run & RUCK on your own. Don't worry about the next phase, worry about what your doing now.

Overall Congrads and good luck. Do NOT Drink and drive!! Call the DD Driver Guys!! One to many gone from the SFQC from that.

Can't stress that enough, a good friend of mine was supposed to go to sage with my class but made a stupid choice and was kicked out with an NTR.

Congrats and good luck along the way. Cric is dead-on and so is the DUI advice. I lost a couple of good buddies along the way due to that stupidity.
18D's start the on-line program and get any medical education you can get before you get to the Q. God speed.

I used to tell all of the new SFQC students that they had an important decision to make.

Did they come to the Course to become SF soldiers, or to party? If you drink and drive on Bragg and in Fayetteville long enough, you will be caught. If you are caught, you will be out of the SFQC by the next evening.

Set your priorities, and live with the consequences.
