It's no long tab..
Gentlemen,
Today I earned by E.I.B. I wanted to stop and take a moment to thank the members of this board to constantly stress attention to detail, hardwork, and training training training. Because of this board, I can honestly say I have become, and will strive to always be, a better soldier.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for all of your dedication to sharing knowledge and helping out us young ones, without this board I believe I would of fallen into one of the crowd who was content with doing the least possible until my ETS date instead of striving for more.
Thank you for all you do here gentlemen. Heading back to lurking and learning now.
SPC Fonz.

Congrats. You just earned something that will remind you many times over that hard work pays off. There are five days in the Army I will never forget. Learning that I was one of only three to earn the EIB. For my Battalions first day of testing is one of them. Do they still send a team up from Benning to run the actual testing, make sure it's to standard, no cheating...etc.
If not I take it all back I know they don't do that anymore. That was even before my time.

Sir,
Passing up the chance to make age jokes, our CSM organized the testing with current E.I.B. holders out here in beautiful Kosovo. In regards to enforcing the standards, out of our battalion two soldiers completed testing, myself and my battle buddy. It was a cold and wet three days of training and testing, but by far the best thing I've done on this deployment.
