....and a NEVER quit attitude.
Thought I'd pass this along.
Recently, a wounded Iraqi vet, was released from Craig Hospital, here in Denver, to go home....to his new house.
SSgt Matt Keil was wounded in Iraq, shot in the neck by an Iraqi sniper, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. His treatment started at Walter Reed hospital, then on to a vet clinic in Florida, then here to Craig hospital, now, he's going home. A new home for him and his wife Tracy.
These two kids are truly amazing. Only being married for 6 weeks, before Matt shipped off to Iraq, and then coming home in a paralyzed condition such as this, the "Can Do" attitude and "Never Quit" spirit exhibited from them, is inspirational.
I was, for lack of a better word, lucky enough, to be there when Matt came back to Colorado, and transport him and Tracy up to Craig hospital from the airport, along with several members, of the local
Patriot Guard. This kid, on a vent and only able to move his left arm slightly, was all smiles when he got here.
Here's a link to Matt's release from the hospital a few days ago...

Whenever we got over to Craig, I would poke my head in and say "Hey" and see how he was doing. His answer....."Getting stronger everyday....NEVER QUIT."
