New Strider knife

So here I am at TREXPO East, minding my own business after giving a ballistics then tactical casualty care lectures....and at the reception following , they begin to hand out door prizes.
I listen up, in the loud room I was lucky enough to hear them ask for a specific challange coin with an elephant on it and I just happen to have one from a member here.......I walk up, they verify and I walk away with a new model Strider knife! I have never won anything like this in my life...see pic.
I was amazed that I actually won something and I never thought I'd have one of these....Thank you Mick and Duane for reminding your representative at the show to put a knife in the give-aways.
And it has been awhile since Mr. Bill Harsey introduced me to Mick and Duane at Blade 2006 and told me to 'buy something' which I forgot to do.....

sorry about the spelling in the title of the thread...couldn't change it after I sent it.

Syd,
I have one of those very knives. I have been very happy with it so far, as I am sure you will be. It rides in the truck pretty much everywhere.

Good times,
blake

I did some redneck engineering and came up with a molle pouch for strider knives that have kydex sheaths. PM me if you’d like me to send you pics and instructions.
