20th SFG POC help

Hey how's it going everyone. Does anyone have a good email for some one in Maryland (20th SFG)? Preferably an admin guy? I need a good POC EMAIL, not phone number, for anyone in 20th SFG up in Maryland. I'm an 18B, just left active duty in JUN and joined 20th out of Maryland. My POC that I had hasn't returned my emails and I'm currently overseas on a contract so the phone option is not my first to keep in contact with my new unit. Any help on this would be great. Thanks

20th POC

Z6,
I am no longer in the unit, but I am still close to some of them.
Sent a PM to me with your E-mail and I will send it to the Company B, readiness NCO. Our e-mail addys have our names, and I want to avoid publishing that on an open source
I am full time in a neighboring state and can do this from work Tuesday.
The unit is 410-592-2535/ 2536.

I have also called the aforementioned phone number(s) to no avail. I have been calling for a few months now. Must be playing tag. I can never leave a message due to the voicemail being full, and I have been to the unit. It seems SFC is never home. Any other methods anyone can recommend? I had a few admin questions to discuss with the recruiter before I asked them on the forum. Thank you for the open ear. Out.

Gentlemen,

I am also trying to find a good POC for B Co. 2/20th SFG(A). I have tried the number of the SFC listed on the Maryland National Guard website only to discover, like BryanK did, that his voicemail is full. The POC numbers listed in the sticky thread on here are good to go, but was unable to find an option to talk to a recruiter on the automated message. I am not military or prior service, just a college student looking for some information on enlisting NG in Maryland, specifically in regard to the 18X program.

Thanks,

Chuck

I am unaware if you have received any PM's about this subject, however my advice would be to contact a recruiter in your AO first. Tell him/her your intentions, and see where it goes from there. You can go on yahoo! yellow pages and type "Armory" after you fill out your location. If you don't know where any local armories are that is. Most full-time recruiters are either present, or have business cards in their door. Just my .02, and good luck.

There are a couple guys here from Bco. Hopefully one of them will be along shortly to give you some advice as it pertains to Bco specifically.

In the interim, you can call the POC for the unit itself and speak with the admin or Training NCO and either of them should be able to square you away with POC for a recruiter who can answer your questions on the NG. Unlike the AD component each SF company generally handles recruiting a little differently; some take REP-63's (same as an 18X for active duty) and others do not. I know at one time Maryland had stopped accepting REP-63's.

HTH,

Crip

Surgicalcric,

I will try the POC number again and try to get a hold of the admin folks and/or Training NCO, thank you. I will definitely be sure to ask about the current status of the MD Guard's acceptance of REP-63's.

BryanK,

I have not received any PM's but I will work with what you said above and contact my local NG recruiter. He should be able to help me out with most questions and point me in the direction of those who can answer the ones he cannot. A good .02, thank you!
