Women's self defense class - Phoenix

Recently my wife has expressed some interest in taking some from of self defense class, an idea I wholeheartedly support. I have searched this forum and read several posts related to women's self defense, and have forwarded all of these to my wife for her to read.

She is not interested in learning a specific martial arts style, but rather basic tools and techniques for survival like the ones espoused by Melissa Soalt (who has been mentioned on this forum).

Would those of you who live in the Phoenix area be able to recommend a class or instructor for her to check out?
