Question A Chinese Buck ?

Hi all,
I already tried the search function but I was unable to find what I am looking for, I was unable to find anything on the BUCK website either.

I recently received (as a gift) a Buck folder. It has black G 10 handles, a big lanyard ring at one end.
The blade is half serrated and is in a black/grey camo pattern with BUCK and CHINA on it.

Can someone tell me more about this knife(especially the quality)?
I usually use my knives to pry/cut/break stuff.
I also like it to be used as a last resort weapon , FI weapon retention.(I am a LEO, no prior mil exp.)just in case.

I also carry a leatherman on my duty belt (getting well-worn now). The folder goes in my trouser pocket.
Last knife I had was a Eickhorn-Solingen Pocket Rescue Tool (the glass breaker worked perfectly as well as the seatbelt cutter, but the blade itself easily got damaged).

Thank you for your info in advance all.

Regards,

Chris.

If there is a question about Buck knives being made in China, ask Buck.

The main factory is now in Post Falls, Idaho and I have been given the tour by C.J. Buck himself and plenty of knives are being produced there.
