Prismatic scope / Leupold

I was surfing the net and found this item. Never seen or heard of one before and a search on the forum produced nothing.

"The Leupold® Prismatic optic gives you the fast target acquisition and accuracy of a non-magnifying red dot sight. But unlike red dot sights, the Prismatic features a glass-etched reticle that’s visible with or without its removable Illumination Module, or even batteries."

Any handled one of these? Any thoughts?

Yep. Played around with one at the SHOT Show.

It is okay, but I prefer the alternatives.

Leupold makes great products, but that is not one of them, IMHO.

They do the same with Trijicon, who has had the knockoffs returned to them for service as well.

Thanks for your thoughts TR

I'm interested and curious about it still. Going to have to find one and put my grubby hands on it.
