Tony Blair to announce plans to leave office

TRIMDON (Reuters) - Prime Minister Tony Blair announces when he will step down on Thursday, 10 years after winning power in what was hailed as a new dawn for Britain that has since been darkened by the Iraq war.

I'm sorry to see Blair go, but I don't see this effecting Brit foreign policy much. Brown is considered to be generally pro-US, so other than some initial rhetoric about asserting itself, there's probably not going to be much substantive change, especially not on the working level.
