The Democrats in Congress are a lot like my three year old daughter. All you have to do when they throw one of their hissy fits is to walk away and let them expend their energy uselessly and wait for them to get over themselves. Once that happens you can talk to them. They are full of sound and fury but in the end there isn't much there.

I'd prefer the GOP allow Democrats to flounder and continue railing about the "lost" war. Giving in now and making nice will not help in 08. Create your own bill that POTUS will sign thereby forcing moonbats to the table. Geeze Louise folks (congressional GOP), playing politics is ALL the Dems know-use it dammit!!!
