I have the Canadian Jump wings still on my class A's in the closet. They were the only foreign jump wings that I was able to earn during my AD time with the 82nd ABN.

We jumped all five jumps from a Chinook in snowy weather with snow shoes that we dropped with the ruck. If you wanted to see something funny, then you should have seen the gun bunny's trying to hump it back to the TIP without those shoes on in 14-16" of snow.

I had placed the sub-dued Canadian wings on some of my BDU's for garrison. When I was clearing I had to go the 18th Corps for something and one of the Majors actually caught me going out of the door and wanted me to strip them off right there in front of him. I had no Idea that orders had come down to remove all foreign jump wings from the utility uniform. When he saw my clearing papers, he just shook his head and allowed me to go on my way. He was in class A's and I didn't notice any foreign jump wings on his uniform.
