Again

OK,
My name is Blake and I have a problem. I keep finding STEYR PISTOLS that I can't pass up!!

Just picked up a Steyr GB 18 in 95% condition with 2 18 rnd mags. Does it do anything my Glocks don't? Hell no, but I have wanted one since I saw a picture of it in a library book at about nine years old. I'll be shooting it tomorrow, so I'll report back with results. Will get pics when I can.

Good times,
Blake

Here is a Pic, I will take some of my particular example of this pistol as soon as I can.

Also,
TS, not sure what upgrade happened most recently, but I am not able to upload any pics (hence link).

Anyway,
The Steyr GB 18 is a semiautomatic, double action, Gas Delayed Blowback pistol firing the 9x19mm cartridge from an 18 round, double column magazine (very similar to H&K VP70 mag) the pistol is steel framed, and importation into the US ceased in 1988 with approximately 20,000 pistols having been made worldwide. The slide of my pistol is blued and the frame is a,"krinkle finish paint" very much like the Sterling submachine gun , though approx. 900 phosphate finished guns were imported.

HTH

Good times,
Blake

Good luck with it. They were notorius jam amatics with the large SWAT team that used them in my area in the late 80's. Also, make sure they NEVER see anything but factory jacketed ammunition. You will have the best luck with NATO ball with that particular gun.
