Forest Critters

These guys show up everyday and it is sort of a battle as to whom gets what first. The turkeys have been getting smart and have been roosting in the surrounding pines, but the deer have been waiting for the right momement and then just drive them off. Today it was cold as hell so they all just sort of tolerated each other.

Cool pictures of the Winter Wonderland, Col M! We have that around here every now and then, but not quite like that. Good stuff.

Nice slice of heaven

Great pictures sir. I love to deer hunt, but I'm a diehard spring turkey hunter at heart. It's something my 8yo son and I can do together, and really enjoy each others company. Our season runs from Mar 24 - May 19

WOW ! What a great wildlife sanctuary you have there, COL ! I've seen turkeys walking thru the fields here but not THAT many.

Thank you for posting some pics !
