Crip's list is a fantastic and much more complete list... but I don't think most Non-medics would use either properly or use at all or could justify the expense of having all those items and quantities.

In both kits, I would recommend some sort of manual of instructions for common first aid requirements. As well as some sort of recognition cards or a book for poisonous plants and animalitos found in your area. Quick reference guides. I won't recommend specific ones, as I am not current on what's available.

Another thing I have found handy are the little eye wash cups.

If you wear glasses I would recommend a spare pair.

Handy-wipes

Calamine lotion

Bug spray or lotion

To Saca's list - bandaids. Crip included them. Bandaids are important.

Tweezers

Medicated powder

Very good catch NDD... I seem to have momentarily lost the forest due to the trees or whatever that little phrase is.

BANDAIDS... you would think I would have remembered those based on my old username on another site, eh Sneaky? LOL

Tweezers are an excellent item and I don't recall seeing them in the old threads...

I chose the olive drab. It complements the brown truck nicely. It should arrive soon.

Based on my two sons, I will be packing most of his list, but not in those quantities, lol. Hopefully this will be an unremarkable Summer healthwise.
