Camera Question?

Greetings.

I have just been informed the, (as I call it), "computer camera" I was given as a gift is beyond repair. It plugged into a "port" on the back of my tower.
(It was used for IM mainly.)

I went to look at sites for a replacement, but there are so many. Being computer illiterate as to today's technology doesn't help us blondes.

If anyone has any suggestions?

Sounds like you are referring to a WebCam...anything by Logitech or Creative Labs would be good. Just go to Best Buy and let them demo some for you.

Yes Sir, it is called a "web-cam."

Thank You for taking the time. I have bno cxlue how much mine cost, but it is worth replacing--I like to use it.
