A Family Affair
This was supposed to be a three generation picture....best laid plans.
It is my son's birthday in 2 days but I will be traveling so I gave him his own Harsey Lone Wolf T-1 today...he was excited. It is shown with my T-2 that my dad had 'borrowed' when I received it and my Tactical that is on my SWAT vest.....I got the T-2 back sooner than I expected when dad died last May.
My son has always wanted a knife like dad and grandpa had so this year Mom said okay.
We are grateful to Mr. Harsey for the outstanding tools he designed and for three different knife designations that each generation can use and pass on to the next generation.
The Harsey design is truly a family affair..........

What a great photo. And so the appreciation of tradition is passed to yet another man cub.
Awsome.

Excellent, grooming a "mini-me" SwatSurgeon, a true Dr, EEEEEEvil. On the gun side - a nice vintage 1941 Savage Model 3B, perhaps?

That is very nice.
I quit giving my son knives some years ago because he just broke the tips and then went and got mine and left me his. It is hard to gut a deer with a knife with a broken tip.
Once he had to buy his own he was more careful.

Buffalobob,
what happened to the SF spirit and art of finer cutting with any object that resembles a knife??????? (just kidding)
If my son breaks the tip or any other part of the knife then he'll have to explain to Mr. Harsey why he would like his blade reground/fixed and that will not be a pleasant experience for him.......
