AAFES XMas Specials: 25% off scopes, TA31F $712, TA01 (?) $644, Leupold M4LR/TM1 $674

Didn't see this anywhere else, so it seems worth a mention hopefully without starting a debate over which scope is best. AAFES is running a Christmas promotion offering 25% off a single order up to $500 total savings. These prices beat anything I could find on Froogle for new products. AAFES site says 14 days order-to-ship, 7 days delivery, YMMV.

To get the deal:
1.) Add item(s) to cart. [Try searching for 'Trijicon', 'Leupold', etc.]
2.) Click 'View Cart'.
3.) Enter promotion code '6HOLIDAY2'.
4.) Savings will be reflected in your cart.

AAFES normal (pre-discount / post-discount) prices for some relevant items:
TA31F - $949 / $711.75
TA01(?) - $849 / $636.75 - See the AAFES page, IANA expert - BUIS, etc. not listed in description, but I'm not sure which else this would be
Leupold Mk 4 LR / T M1 - $899 / $674.25
Leupold Mk 4 MR / T - $779 / $584.25

For those interested, also works on Ipods, housewares, jewelry, etc.

The promotion is set to expire 31 December (probably at 2359).

Happy Holidays to all.

I tried the code and it works. The discount brought a Nikon D-SLR down to $150 cheaper than anywhere else online. (Too bad AAFES doesn't carry the new D40 yet)

Good find. Thanks.

Sean,

Thanks for the heads up. I happened across this thread at the same time I was shopping for a Canon 30D D-SLR, which ended up saving me a few bucks over Amazon.

Thanks.

Jeff

No Luck on the Xmas special, I entered the code and the AAFES online catalog kicked it back. Does anyone know of any other special that AAFES is running?

Try again only this time type the code EXACTLY as SB put it in his post. I had the same problem the first time I tried it. The code is case sensitive. Good luck, it's a great deal. Peregrino

ETA: I posted the reply then thought about checking. 504PIR is right, it's not working for me either. Glad I ordered when I did. Anybody else have any ideas?

Just a heads up on this special: Make sure to check your credit card statement. Even though I have the invoice showing my total with the discount, my card was charged full price.

I gave Aafes a call and am waiting on a CS call back. I don't know if this is an isolated issue, but just keep an eye out.
