I missed your reply yesterday............
I hadnt planned on going today (Monday), but might get over there later in the afternoon just to see the exhibits.
USASOC has a booth, and we've got a MSG from 5th working with the Chief of Staff there I believe.

I am in DC, just for the day. We fly to ABQ tomorrow (Tuesday), and drive to Santa Fe for awhile.

Saw the USASOC booth, some NCOs, and a warrant, no CoS.
Great show, great parties afterwards.
Sorry I missed you, I was only there for the day.

AUSA on CSPAN
CSPAN had an excellent program on yesterday from the AUSA conference.
Don’t know if any were able to attend, but is was most informative.
It will probably be posted in the CSPAN archives in the next few days
Forum
Actionable Intelligence
Status of Military Intelligence
Panel
Collin Agee, Director, U.S. Army Chief of Staff, Intelligence Integration
Carl A.Strock, Commander, Army Corps of Engineers
John Kimmons, Director, U.S. Army, G-2 Intelligence
David Rodriguez, Commanding General, U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne
James J. Lovelace, Jr. Lieutenant General, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3, U.S. Army
Andrea Thompson, Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army
All comments were “open source”, but I was amazed at the candor, and confidence that was expressed by all the speakers. Intel sure moves faster, and we are able to analyze and act upon “time sensitive” material much quicker, and at a lower operating level than I though possible.
CSPAN also had a noon program on today that was equally well done.
U.S. Army Operations
General Peter J. Schoomaker, Army Chief of Staff
Francis J. Harvey, Army Secretary
