Well isn't this a Blinding Flash of the Obvious. This could have been written by any kid in high school with access to newspaper accounts and a good dose of common sense. So from this folks are building a case against the administrations efforts? I think the biggest problem in this whole business is not the "damning contents" of the NIE but the traitorous slime ball who released the information.

Or was this a very clever/lucky plot/chance to set up the Liberal Media and the Dems (one and the same)!! They go and spout off on all of this and then GW "releases the WHOLE THING"!! Leaving the LM & Dems swinging in the breeze because the tidbit that they blew all out of proportion is nowhere near the real truth!!!

(Gotta love the concepts of MIS/DIS- INFORMATION!!)

Funny thing. It seems that everyone was crying that our intell estimates were so bad they got us into a war that was a mistake.........Now all of a sudden the Dems think the intell estimates prove their point of view. All based on a paragraph or two out of a many page report.

What ticks me off over the whole issue is...

Why people keep leaking these types of documents!

We need to aggressively investigate, prosecute, and incarcerate these people. The army regularly “fries” soldiers for security breaches of a far lesser magnitude!

OPSEC, PERSEC, and INTSEC are foreign ideas to the politicos - they don't die because of them, our fellow QPs and other soldiers do - gov't officials and employees need to be held to higer security standards.

Probably not going to happen, though!

Remind me someday to tell you about the time I saved John Kerry's life!

The writeup is on here somewhere, but we are flying to Vanderbilt in an hour, and I am behind in my duties. I will post it up when we return.

No problem with the crap!

Packing is correct, we just spent a week in Japan (5 hotels 7 days), then to Paris for a week. Got home yesterday, or the day prior, and now off to Vanderbilt.
