9/11 Never Forget

Been watching many programs and some older documentaries all day today; the pain, emotion, and anger is as fresh today as it was 5 years ago.

God bless our fellow countrymen and women murdered that day and their families. And as always, prayers for our Military who have always been here for us and take the fight to the enemy.

RIP Sean Hanley, FDNY 11 September 2001.

Amen.

May God's blessings be upon our warriors and His arms closely hold those who have gone Home, victims and heroes, alike.

9/11 - Never forgotten.

To all those lost, or scarred by the attacks of 9/11 - Peace. To all those still in the fight against Terrorism, Drive On!

I lost 5 people I grew up with on 9/11 in the WTC, friends to AQ, and friends to the Taliban - none of you is ever forgotten, and some of you left long before we knew who was behind it.

Never forget

A special prayer given by SGM Lamb at an SFC ANCOC graduation on September 12th, 2001. It is posted in the academy entry way.

"Lord, make me an instrument of your wrath.... Give me the strength to crush the insolent bastards that make war on my country.... Allow me to grind the bones of my enemy and drive his line to extinction.

All this I ask without remorse

Amen"

Awesome words......

MY prayer for our enemy.

May their butts grow shut and they drown in their own crap!

(A clean version of my prayer)

The blogging community got together and decided to honor each and every person who was killed in the attacks of 9/11 with a written tribute of their lives.

This site http://www.madmommajen.com/ has the list of every name as well as the blogger who wrote the tribute (name is hyperlinked, you can click to their tribute). Unfortunately the names are not alphabetized, so you might have to spend some time looking for someone in particular.

Thanks for the link Gypsy - found tributes to friends, written by strangers.

Like the new addition to the sig - wonder where it came from....

You're welcome x_sf, it was a pretty huge and sobering project from the looks of it. Amazing what folks can do when they put their minds to it.

RIP Fire Marshall Ron Bucca who gave his life on 11 Sep 2001 doing what he did and loved best. Fire Marshall Bucca was a former member of 11th SFG (A).

It was my GREAT honor to attend the SFQC graduation of his son, SSG Ronnie Bucca earlier this year. Ronnie wore his dad's beret when he walked across the stage! He is a warrior and is currently serving with 20th SFG (A).

You are both in my thoughts and prayers everyday, but particularly today. WE WILL NEVER FORGIVE AND NEVER FORGET!!!
