Why does it occur to me that one side takes national security more seriously than the other? Maybe if a Dem wins the '08 elections Marion Barry can be the next Secretary of Defense. The fact that a convicted felon is a sitting member of congress is disturbing enough but the fact that his party put him on the Intelligence committee is mind blowing.

Are the Democrats trying to let the Republicans keep control of the House and Senate? Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but if this is for real its like the Dems aren't even trying anymore.
