Another shipwreck survivor...

A guy and his dog were the only survivors of a shipwreck and found themselves on an island populated by sheep, but no humans. After several years on the island without human companionship, the guy started to eye the sheep. However, every time he began to chase after the sheep, his dog would snarl, bark and block his way. No matter how hard he tried to go after a sheep, his dog would always frustratingly defeat his efforts.

One day, he looked to the horizon and saw another ship going down. He swam out to sea and found a gorgeous blond lying on some flotsam, unconscious. He grabbed her and swam to shore, where he began to resuscitate her. When she came to, she looked at him and gushed, “Thank you, you saved my life! To show you my gratitude, I’ll do anything you want!”

The guy thought for a second, then replied as an expectant smile spread across his face, “Could you please hold this dog’s leash for me?”

A different take

A man And his dog are the only survivors of a ship wreck, and are stranded on an island full of wild pigs. After many months the pigs start to look good to the man. However every time he tries to catch a pig the dog blocks him snarling and barking. One day the man sees another ship go down on the horizon. He swims out to find a woman clinging to a life jacket. He drags her to shore, and is amazed to find that it is Hilary Clinton. She is grateful for being saved and offers the man any favor he may want. He looks at her with a big smile on his face and says, " Would you mind holding on to this dog for me."
