Mass. National Guard: Money owed soldiers

Here's the link:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060804/...rdsmen_lawsuit

"The lawsuit claims the soldiers' requests for compensation were repeatedly denied, and eventually their commanding officers told the soldiers they could be taken off their missions if they didn't stop asking."

Well, so much for looking out for the troops.

I wouldn't worry about it, I'll bet their Senator is all over it...

Which one?!?!?!

I'd bet that it's the one that voted for it before he voted against it!!!!!

Rather than the one that did't vote at all.

Yeah, he probobly is. The money went somewhere...
Of course it probobly was on its way to the soldiers and then got lost somewhere in "The Big Dig".
I love Boston, but damn I'm glad I don't live there any more.

I second that emotion; lived there for a year and a half and that was enough for me. It's funny though, how many conservatives there are. You'd think they'd be able to get rid of the Kennedy/Kerry tumors, but I guess there are more tree-hugging, love bunnies than real men/women.

Anyway, Cheers mate

Yeah, but the problem is that MA is soooooo liberal that is kind of a watered down conservatisim. I was considered a hard line conservative in Boston, but when I moved to MT I narrowly avoided being burned at the stake as some sort of a liberal Kerry lover trying to infiltrate their culture and take away their guns (I believe that the form you have to fill out before you buy a gun is reasonable).

But hey, it takes all types. I just couldn't put up with the state as a whole any more and had to move. Now I just come up for the foliage. Stay safe out there if you're still out there.
