The ME violence comes to Seattle

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/...oting28ww.html

Wow. Just wow.

I worked for many years about a half block from this intersection. When I first started working there, I'd walk by this building and wonder at their security, but after 9/11, I figured it was pretty sensible.

Prayers out to the women and their families.

I saw that earlier.

I would wager that he will not get a severe sentence.

Unfortunately, it will be a Seattle jury, and I'd not take TR up on his wager. Lived here for too long to even hope for a different outcome.

King County Jury? That's a suckers bet. Sorry boss, I'm gonna have to pass on taking you up on that one.

It may not be related to organized terrorism, but it sure as hell is terrorism.

I also worked close to there. Friend who lives across the street couldnt go home as was treated as hate crime / terrorism from the start, searching for explosives, etc.

This cretin's actions are really $%#$$%^@$ me off on so many levels.

I'm a little late on this one, just saw it today.
It strikes me as this isn't his fault. Its the gun's fault, it put itself in his hand and told him to do it. It may even have pulled its own trigger.
We don't need to punish this man, we need to punish lawfull gun owners by enacting tighter gun control to prevent this from happening again.

Hi, I'm psychotic, and a naturalized American citizen, I don't like what I feel the evil Israelis are doing, so I'm going to shoot up an American Synagogue populated by mostly women and kids. It's not my fault - blame Israel, they retaliated when my buddies in Hezbollah decided to kill a few of their soldiers and civilians - and it's not fair because they're freedom fighters.

Weak on the stand, don't you think? Friggin Oxygen thieves - him and the bleeding hearts who aren't going to punish him.

Hmmmm, I don't like what's going on in the ME either - should I go to a Mosque and kill people? I don't think so.

And where was he employed?

Suspect in Jewish Federation shootings recently baptized

Born a Muslim, the guy converted to Christianity and was baptized last December. Yet now he's willing to kill in the name of his religion, not the current one - the one he converted from!

*shaking head* Hunh????
