Somalian Band Beaten for Playing Music
I guess this is their idea of bringing order and calm to Mogadishu:

Somalia bears watching...terrorists thrive in lands with no effective government, such as Lebanon, Afghanistan...

Don't worry,....we're watching!!
Big moves by the Islamic courts in the last few months. Pretty significant moves have bolstered quite a bit of concern from bordering countries. It's always been a place to watch, but more recently (post OIF) there's been a great deal of new Islamic movements within the whole horn. Lessons learned have a way of making their way back to the places like this and become the TTP for the next generation of recruits.
Nothing new, just a thought.

Were they playing boy band music like Backstreet Boys or N'Sync? If that were the case then we are talking about a thoroughly justified event here.

Got to go to a show put on by the National Dance Team from Sudan. In a little play house near the Mahdi's Tomb in Omdurman.
I'll stop here.

i'll bet it sounded a lot like someone skinning a cat with a chainsaw, complete with foot stomps, hand claps and the occassional Rebel yell...
