There aren't many that can stand on their prop, at a hover.

He also had perfect wind conditions. Doubt there were that many air currents in that Gym.

Having made an attempt at flying an RC aircraft, I am just a tad past impressed. No wind or not that took some real skills and an aircraft with one hell of a lift to weight ratio.

When you get into the "BIG" ships running weed-eater motors and scale or turbine power, yes, it gets real expensive. The smaller electrics are much more affordable, <$200.

From my experience with, ahem, other hobbies, it would appear that this very expensive hobby is quite a bit cheaper than, eh, gun ownership.
