All Roads Lead to Baghdad

All Roads Lead to Baghdad ARSOF in Iraq

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command History Office is releasing this week a book that details the activities of members of the Army special-operations community conducting Operations in Iraq.

The book, All Roads lead to Baghdad: ARSOF in Iraq, is produced by the USASOC command historian's office. This is a follow-up to the ARSOF in Afghanstan released in 2004. The book is also written by the military historians which all have special-operations experience. This book shares the stories of ARSOF soldiers with the American public of the actions within Iraq. This book is produced is high quality and provide much more details with figures, maps, and pictures. This looks like a great book, and is a new chapter in America's GWOT.

The USASOC Historian's Office is distributing copies of the book to all ARSOF units so start looking for them next week if you haven't gotten a copy yet. All of you Bank Hall (SOAF) soldiers may want to pick one up. For more information, I would contact the USASOC command historian office at DSN 239-3732 or commercial (910) 432-3732.

Picked my son up from the airport yesterday and he presented me with a copy of All Roads Lead to Baghdad and Weapon of Choice. Great text books and a must for one's personal library. Website for the books is:
