Fishing in Quebec

Hey All,

My Dad is in failing health and it is his desire to get in "one last really good fishing trip." My sister and I are trying to set something up.

He has fond memories of trips to Quebec when he was younger and as we can drive him there without too much difficulty (flying is a problem), this seems the place to go. He can remember only a few names of places and I've not found them thru Google, of course between his memory and the fact that it's been over fifty years since he visited most of these places, maybe this isn't too surprising.

So, the question is... can anyone recommend a good place?

The parameters are;

Nice, but not opulent. We're on a budget, but we both want this to be a memorable trip and are concerned for his comfort. (There'll be four or five in the group.)

Someplace that is not limited to fly fishing. This is his love, but he doesn't know how much casting he can do without tiring. (Apparently he can run a spinning rod more easily than a fly rod, I don't fish so don't appeciate the mechanics involved)

He can't hike in any great distance, so fishing from a boat would be ideal, but from an open bank would work.

Within five or six hours drive of Montreal.

TIA
