History Channel International: Heroes Under Fire

I caught this show shortly after it started playing Sunday night entitled "Heroes Under Fire: Jungle Ambush" about RT Alabama in the A Shau Valley in October 1968. Wow. I don't remember if that operation was covered in Maj. Plaster's books or not, since I loaned them out to a friend at work.

Pretty good show with interviews with the 12 (RTO?), and some other SOG Operators who were functioning as Covey Riders during the operation, as well as one of the indig members of the team.

I TIVO'ed it and was able to catch all of the show, and watched it yesterday. Its the first show I've seen that covered SOG operations, and wondered if anyone else caught it, especially you QP's that were part of SOG.

I have seen that one as well. I have seen a few other SOG oriented shows on the History Channel in the recent past, although most of them have not been as detailed as this production was.

As for TiVo, not sure how we survived all these years without one!
