My newest blaster

I had this STI built for me by a local shooter turned gunsmith. It is a commander-length slide, with a Clark 9mm barrel, EGW cone comp, CPMI Aimpoint mount, Aimpoint CompC SM, and the same fire control components as my other STI.

This thing is really fun to shoot. 29 rounds in a 170mm magazine, pushing a 124gr bullet 1350 fps. Aimpoint is on its way or already in Sweden getting the switch repaired, as it started alternating on/off with every other shot.

Its flat, accurate, and so much fun to play gun games with. I can't wait to recover from this back surgery and get back out and play.

FYI. Guns are tools. We don't play with them.
When I was a new guy, I got my ass reamed for making that mistake.

Nice piece BTW.

Although in general the Aimpoint optics are excellent, they are not that well suited for Open class pistols, they do fail frequently.

W-M,

I wasn't implying that my guns are toys. USPSA is a shooting "game", and that was the only distinction I was trying to make.
