Question about my foot

I had my cast taken off today and put into one of those robo boots. I was told to do limited walking on it, and to do what I can bare. My question is, when I step down on it, I get this shocking feeling that runs from my heal to my toes. I let the doctor know and she said it was something which I did not catch and said she isn't to worried about that right now, fracture first. I am still wondering what it is, any of you folks have any ideas?

That's not right. My wife broke her ankle on a jump. Womack said she was good with one fracture healing. She went back after similiar difficulty and, after follow up x-rays, they found another broken bone, lower in her foot. Keep in mind, my wife is hard...walked off the drop zone with the break and went couple days before ever getting x-rays - she wrote it off to an ankle sprain from a hard anding.

She may not be worried about it...but she can't be sued either. Perhaps I'm cynical. I'd go back to get it checked again.

pain is both a sign and symptom....agree with having it rechecked.
Nerve or other tissue 'caught' or trapped within a healing fracture line, nerve injury, inflammation, the list goes on....
have it looked at and don't allow the brush off until all avenues have been exhausted, includes second opinions.
