Lightbulb MARCHING

Havent been able to find any topics on this in the search engine and extensive reading Ive done....

When marching, everyone always says, "Swing those arms"

When I march I find it more comfortable to just hold my hands together right on mystomach as I walk than swinging them, does anyone else?

Is there something I should know about swinging as fars as { does it help expand your chest for lung capacity for breathing, or maybe help you make a bigger step} or is all just comfort?

I know every1 is different but doesnt hurt to get opinions

The question is WHY?

From one Wolfhound to another......Why do you ask. Are you planning on giving a block of instruction? Are you just really bored and want to know how others conduct daily tasks?

This is probably the wrong forum and venue to be asking a question such as this.

When were you with 2-27INF?

PM me with dates and times, we may have crossed paths.

Yes, most people find that it helps to swing their arms when they are moving out hard. You can even do it while carrying a weapon.

Maybe your legs aren't moving fast enough to tell the difference.

Do you know the difference between marching and rucking?

Good point, but just to be sure and it never hurts to learn from a different point of view, what is the difference between marching and rucking????

I move at a 14:30 mile pace with about 60 pounds, sumtimes ill have to kick itup a notch to reach that time but id rather go into a 50 meter run/walk....

Is this where your nodding your head saying, "start stepping it out dick"??????

HOOT, you served in the Wolfhounds, and you do not know how to march?

I am not surprised, but am deeply disappointed.

Your rucking pace is too slow.

You need to be turning 14:00 miles at least, for 12 miles at the time. You would have to swing your arms to get much faster.
