Intro
Greetings-
Figured I would post an intro as I've been lurking for a while. I'm non-PS and am currently a consultant to the 9th AF / CENTAF. My commitment ends mid-winter so hopefully by then I'll be in shape enough to go 09S. That being said I find the site a good source of motivation if my career takes me to SFAS and beyond.
Saturday last I spent an enjoyable (albeit muggy) afternoon reading my just arrived copy of Get Selected! cover to cover. Illuminating to say the least.
V/r,
Tonks

Newbie
Greetings everyone,
My name is Steve and I'm a 26 year old Mortar Platoon Leader in the 82nd ABN at Fort Bragg, NC. I was selected by DA to attend SFAS and pursue my goal of becoming a Special Forces Officer. I discovered this outstanding collection of people and wisdom when I was researching the Pipeline and was happy to find an entire section devoted to that topic.
I have always wanted to pursue a career in Special Forces after interacting with family members and friends who are/were in Groups. My brother in law was in 5th Group and recently retired and my cousin is in 19th currently in Iraq.
I am looking forward to joining in the discussions on this board.

Whats up guys, I found this site a few days ago by accident and am sure glad that I did. I PCS to attend SFQC next month, As well as airborne school. I'm not coming from a high speed MOS or unit, but I have always wanted more. So here I am. I have already gained knowledge, and will continue to read when I can between training. I am currently OJTing with 1st SFG up at Ft. Lewis for now. Thats about it. Have a great evening.

Hello,
I've been lurking for several months and have found this site very informative. I'm a Lt./Paramedic for a fire department in Idaho and have enlisted in the Washington NG. I hope to eventually get in with the 19th SFG.

OK, that was weak. Just you wait!

Introduction
Hello all. I've been a lurker on this site for a while, and thought I should post an intro. I've never posted anything on the boards, any topics I had questions about have been well covered ahead of me. Thanks to all the BTDTs who have had the patience and taken the time to share their knowledge and experience.

What a great site! Good to see Soldiers taking care of their own. I’m Rodney Sevier…Former Marine. I came across this site and found an old friend "D9". I look forward to reading some more of the great stories and information on the site. Snap and Pop! Here's a salute to the site and admins!
