I'm done for Terry.

Half the meat in my freezer is venison.

Maybe Nancy can check my brain out this summer?

Nah, "Science" is a pretty well respected journal in the field.

Don't worry, that is just those cannibalistic Canadian deer.

Good ole' US deer are GTG.

Please let us know when you will be having your brain out. Then we will be able to call you and see what it would be like to talk to a liberal.

Next year you'll be hearing how Deer makes you smart.

They use to say that cholesterol was bad, until they found out that there was good and bad cholesterol. Then it was fat. But they found that trans fat was bad, but monosaturated fat was good for fat break down if you exercised with weight training.

The only thing I know is that smoking is bad for you, too much drinking is bad for you, drugs are bad, but living in moderation is they key.

And for petes sake weight train 3 times a week.

"CWD occurs naturally only in mule deer, white-tailed deer and Rocky Mountain Elk and very likely other subspecies of elk. The mode of transmission of CWD has not yet been fully identified and research is ongoing to explore possibilities of transmission of CWD to other species. However, evidence has shown that the disease can pass from cervid to cervid by direct contact through saliva, urine, and feces, and by indirect contact through environmental contamination with infective substances. There is no known treatment for CWD and it is always fatal. Currently there is no evidence that CWD poses a risk for humans or domestic animals."

The folks in Vermont have passed legislation prohibiting the feeding of deer during the winter months. The idea being that they don't want to make the deer congregate and spread the disease. Of course there is a kicker here. Deer will yard up in the winter during the coldest months and most certainly when the snow is deep. So banning the feeding of deer makes little sense when they are gregarious anyway in winter. Kinda sorta like keeping your kids out of school so they don't catch a cold but sending to the movies on the weekend.

Give me a break, I'm old, tired, broken, and, unlike the TS, had a very small cup of coffee this morning.
