...Not quite 13 years, but Central and South America was the place to be in the 80s.

Just cruising the 7th SFG thread and this caught my eye - you're right about the '80s - and I got a tingly feeling we're going to be waaay behind the 8-ball on the next go round down there.:munchin

Greeting from sunny south florida.
For those that recognize the title "RT NV One-Zero" - then you probably know who I'm talking about. It was the license plate on his Camero last time I saw him at Bragg.
He is in Womack. 4 South. Room 467. If you get a chance to go see him, please do. It ain't looking good for the home team.

For Kenny McMullin--RIP. A truely inspirational SF trooper who demonstrated his skills through deeds, not words.

Hey - It's all about the family business. Blood in; blood out. You've paid the dues so just keep up the solid recovery. As soon as Hugo croaks we (7th) will show you stuff a whole lot better than Asscrackistan! And you don't even have to tell 20th (at least not everything! :p).

Enjoyed the opportunity to visit the new 7th Group compound late last year with Master Chief (Ret.) Bob Nissley (SOG / NavSpecWar Bragg Advisor / SOA Life Member).

We were provided nice tour of 3/7 and appreciated the memorial wall and selected 3/7 memorabilia, some I recognized from our days in Panama at Gulick/Fort Davis.

It was good going back in time.

CSM "IVAN" still mourns the loss of his bananna trees from out front the old BN headquarters building :(

That was a great 3/7 clandestine mission. Kudos years later to the "Bananna Whackers" involved!:munchin
