Does anyone have contact with a SSG David G. Last name not listed for OPSEC. SSG G. was injured during OEF V, I was curious if anyone had the word of how he is doing currently.

Last I heard, he was in Tampa and was recognized as the SOCOM Medic of the year. Saw it in an article in "Tip of the Spear" the SOCOM magazine. Event would have been in Jan or Feb. Best bet is to contact the 3rd Group SDNCO, get the number for 380 and contact his SGM directly. Should still be SGM Jeff W.

He was seriously wounded when his GMV hit an IED

Roger Sir, thank you. I wish him all the best.

I personally think there is a difference.

The last Time I saw Dave was when he was still recovering up at Walter Reed. CSM Dave Z. brought Dave G. and his wife to the SOLIC conference dinner, along with two other 3rd SFG that were recovering from wounds.

For the damage Dave sustained, he was doing remarkably well. I put him through the Q-Course and served with him during both OEF and OIF one. He's not only one hell of a resilient guy; he's a great medic as well.

Another credit needs to go to his wife, who stayed by his side while he went through the tough recovery. She's one hell of a lady.

When you guys run into him, tell him I said hey.

I know this is an old thread but Dave is doing well, he is a student of mine at the moment.

I know this almost a five year old post, and a shot in the dark, but you guys are talking about me. I know one of you. So who are you Bruce?
