Any of you esteemed gents know what happened to Dean??

He was my medic and was assigned to the tm about 4-5 days before we left for Haiti...(351). He left Haiti early and I lost track of him.

I went to a memorial service Saturday (21 May) down at the USS North Carolina where the services conducted a memorial ceremony.

It was a very nice ceremony, I didn't know that Dean had passed though...wow

I saw in SF Brothers back when he passed that he succumbed to COVID.
They were looking to place his service dog with someone.

He was fully vaccinated.

He was a bit older than me, he was 66 or so. Wow, sad to hear. I hope they found a place for his dog..

Ya just never know.....:(
