This is on Drudge right now. It doesn't look confirmed, but as is said in the article, this is the same news source that first reported the capture of Saddam.

Dont know yet. The United States "denies" capturing him. Although that is wierd how the terrorist they caught had a 10 million dollar bounty according to a newspaper correspondent.

Well, as the day drags on, and as no U.S. news agencies are even reporting it as a possibility, I'm leaning towards thinking that the story was a false alarm.
BTW, how do you mean weird (in reference to the $10 million dollar bounty)?

Well I mean if a terrorist with a 10 million dollar bounty must be someone they want pretty bad. I'd assume the it was a big terrorist.

Oh, I see what you are saying. If you go back and read the article though, they are not saying that there definatley WAS a terrorist with a $10 Million bounty captured (thus giving credibility to the first report). They are saying that a second newsource claimed that "Zarqawi, who had a $10 Million dollar bounty", was captured. Both articles say the same thing I think.

Well, it looks like Drudge is saying that his White House source is doubtful of the report. Hope thats not the case, though.

I thought the reward on him was $25 million?

Yep, looks like it was raised to $25M.
