Yep....the most stupid play call I can remember in football....1 yard for a touchdown, 3 plays to score and you've got Marshaun Lynch.... and somebody says hey let's pass it...:eek:

Well, maybe the luckiest. It still would have been dumb.

Besides, the O coordinator never really deliberately used his quarterbacks running ability. Hell, it's the final drive of the superbowl with a touchdown giving you the go-ahead win. You dig into the playbook and pull out all the stops .

It's a far worse PR nightmare for the NFL with the Pats winning... If they had lost, then you can say "see...we protected the balls and they couldn't win"...

So much for that "out"
