What'cha bet that they reduce the number of commands and increase the Milky Way!

I got no problem with most of it - but the above does seem odd to me.

I think the argument is that regionally, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India should fall under the same COCOM - whether CENTCOM or PACOM (which now shares the burden with EUCOM of Russian territories East of the Urals).

However, using that same argument, then why split Africa between EUCOM and CENTCOM (which also goes against the former AFRICOM CDRs recommendation), and will EUCOM and PACOM still share responsibility for Eastern Russian territory? :confused:

The fact that Mexico would fall under the same COCOM as the other SOUTHCOM countries makes tremendous sense.
