Looking more like SOF fire bases will be more like what was in El Salvador and Vietnam. Live of the land and locals & medical MEDEVACs long coming. No more Ice cream, milk & soda will be local.

I read the version on Yahoo News this morning. We fund their security forces, medical care, and education for any number of years while promising to not use their location for strategic purposes.

How is this to our benefit, strategic partnership? Not much of a partnership, short of them just taking our money.

Definition of strong partner, "someone willing to infuse our country with massive amounts of money." That would be money that we do not have.
