Don't know if it's true. My mom said dad witnessed them lighting one off ( an A- bomb ) in NM before he was assigned to SAC.

She said he was different after he got back from that trip. :munchin

Never had any of those "atomic pop guns" - but we did have a container and large ALICE rucks to do this with.

If I'm not mistaken they only mentioned UDT and SEAL jumper/divers.....:confused: Why wasn't our SF divers/jumpers included?......;)
