View Full Version : America's Top Shot
I didn't see this posted yet. This was in an email I received, and looks like fun! I just wanted to let you all know. It's a new show for the History Channel called America's Top Shot. Here is the link:

Very amusing.... every "game" shooter across America will be applying I'm sure.
Most of America's real "top shots" will never be known to the American public and $100,000 is not going to make them come out of the wood work. We're going to see some serious air-soft shooters I'm sure.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, a resident or citizen of the United States and reasonably proficient with shooting and marksmanship. Further eligibility requirements are listed in the casting application.
That says it all.

While my shooting skills are truly "mind-blowing" I doubt I'll be applying.
Or perhaps I will and send them my avatar pic.:p
I'd really like to see their applications when they come in. I bet there'll be some doozies.:D

At least that might help with the "big personality" requirement!
Maybe this SEAL will apply... :munchin

They did specify "in shape" (round is a shape, right?:lifter). I guess that leaves me out. I maintain my shooting skills so I don't have to run. After all running damn near killed me once; I intend to see it never gets another opportunity.

they're gonna pay to shoot. It'd be a great deal but I'm not Physically up to it since to cancer has fouled up my balance. and vision.

I prefer to shoot like a professional, from a prepared, comfortable position. The whole running and jumping about thing seems rather ungentlemanly. :D

I don't comprehend how they can look themselves in the Mirror every Morning

I really like his starched "Field" uniform.
I am sure that helps his shooting somehow...right:rolleyes:

Agreed. Running breeds cowardice. NEVER share a foxhole with someone who can outrun you

Aye aye yay. I make no judgment on the SEAL featured, but I read some of this article at Borders last week and it rubbed me the wrong way. It wasn't war journalism. It wasn't a promotional article for SEALs. It was like porn for Columbine shooters. Reminded me of Marcinko novels.
