View Full Version : Odd login attempts
I just got an automatic message from this site that someone from a NJ IP was trying to login to my account repeatedly.
Here's the text:
Someone has tried to log into your account on Professional Soldiers ® with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.
The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 24.131.72.129
Odd....
Anything special I should do?

None of our Registered Users match that IP, so just be sure you use a complex Password.

Everyone should take a moment and change their password. Good rule of thumb is 8 to 15 characters, upper case, lower case, numbers and special characters. Just use something random.
For example don't take a word and change a o to a zero or a 1 to a !. Those are common something truely random like #mz*Dc00#4v.
This should be part of your computing routine for all your passwords and should happen ever 30 to 45 days.
If you're like me and have "fun" trying to create new pwords every 90 days for home and work, I use these for the Firefox:
