My favorite German dish
Ok all of you 10th Groupers out there. Here's a topic on something that I'm sure is near and dear to your heart, or at least your waistline. Miss that authentic German food? I was never fortunate enough to have been stationed in Bad Tolz but have spent 4 years of my life in Deutschland both as a servicemember and also a civilian. In this new era of vegetarianism and veganism I trust that there are still a few meat and potato lovers out there. My favorite Teutonic fare was a large plate of Ungarische Goulash (Hungarian Goulash), Rotkohl (Red Sauerkraut) and Thuringer Klosse (Thuringian Potato Dumplings). That topped off with a shot of Jagermeister was a perfect way to start an evening of beer drinking and story telling.
