I notice that Pakistan is facing problems in reconstituting a government ( LINK (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jIE0IUn4WIiaMBpjG8SI_6H5RXzgD92PIIDO0) ), and that issues like food and electricity are becoming problematic ( LINK (http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/asection/la-fg-pakmood24-2008aug24,0,2210000.story) ). A variety of other news items have come up lately, and most are not positive.
South Ossetia and Georgia have been in the news, but I wonder if Pakistan may not be the bigger story. Is their state headed toward chaos, with clear negative implications? Or, is it merely the media making something out of nothing?
