:) Sounds like a plan!

Now about those corporate CEOs that pull down $100,000,000 per year plus benefits and a corporate jet...while the shareholders get scraps...

Looks to me like it was written by another President Bush hater.

How about those movie stars that pull down 20 million for a movie while the extras get scraps and have to wait on tables to make a living?

How about Banks pulling down twice as much profit margins as "BIG OIL"?

Lots of people view what others have and want things to be "Fair". They want government step in and level the playing field. Try to make things fair and the road starts to get real slick with a deep ditch on each side. Try to tinker too much and you start playing Whack-a-Mole with all the problems caused by your tinkering.

Hmmm- maybe we should outsource congress and cut down on new laws?

Interesting that you should say that. Some of the new graphics technology seems to be taking us to a point where human actors can be supplanted by convincing animations. There are problems - skin texture seems like plastic instead of real skin, and strands of hair are difficult to deal with, since each hair needs to be animated as a distinct object. That said, computers are getting faster - so both the stars and the extras may wind up waiting tables.

As communications become cheaper and faster, as computers become faster, and as AI develops, the issue will become more challenging. Companies have an obligation to shareholders to minimize costs - but that can have political consequences. Global labor arbitrage will tend to equalize wages around the world - so as wages in India increase, those in the U.S. will trend down due to supply and demand.

The political and economic consequences of all this are fairly sure to be interesting. Perhaps even profitable, if one guesses correctly.

Given the current approval levels, you just might win a campaign for President with such a proposal. I'd be honored to vote for you!

Most of them are better Actors then extras. Most do work hard to get where they are and increase ticket sales. So they deserve the money. The extra who stands around and works less should get paid less.
No matter how good animation gets. Nothing beats a movie packed full of talented Actors like the Departed for example. Besides how else can we see Martin Sheen thrown off a roof:D

Two, with a concrete driveway under the highest peak. A window is there as well if we don't feel like climbing, he can always just go from there head first.

I'll have the kids go down and bust some bottles and drag up some steel scrap and cinder blocks, if you call a few minutes out. No trouble at all.

Get the Jersey Girl to call the relatives and you won't even have to break a sweat. You set up the lawn chairs, fire up the grill, and break out the burbon and cigars. I'll flip burgers and help hose the drive down afterwards. Peregrino

So same treatment if Babs, Alec and Susan can be convinced to show up?

I'm just going to keep reminding myself never to piss you all off. :munchin

It seems that I've ignored the human factor. That's always been one of my failings.

Sometimes even the best simulations don't equal the real thing. :munchin
