RR, not to hijack your thread but I heard about the 6 alarm fire there yesterday. Glad no one was seriously injured.

Glad to hear it. Now come on over to the sandbox, there's plenty of work for all. :D
I can sympathize with the Meade thing. I was up in your neck of the woods for 4 years and called it quits this year. I got lucky and got shuffled away to 1st BN. Good group of fellas to work with and support.
I get back, I'll buy you a cold one. :lifter

I saw that. The building described is across the post from where I am.
This is strange, though. Not more than two weeks ago, my boss's wife (a former Company Commander over there) described a kid that was on extra duty that started an electrical fire from using too many extension cords on an electric hedge trimmer. When I saw the news, my first thought was that the same dude must be on extra duty again.
Yikes, if it is the same kid it should be safe to guess he's out of a job.

I'm saving this quote for later :D

Hey, those 98C's are good guys. You gotta love that SIGINT talk!
Congrats... I think. How much 1SG time does that get you? Just a year? What job did you get? Who did you bribe at branch to get out of there?

I think that is where they did polys 'back in the day'... About 1/2 way between the golf course and the indoor pool??

Dude.. Branch is a 98C from 5th SFG! He's about as pro-send-Charlies-to-Group as you can get! He's pretty cool, at least last time I had to deal with him ;) Of course.. that was.. 2004..
Nah... they don't teach T9 anymore save at the Black Bldg on Meade... They gave us the standard intro and made us do a lot of minor T9 type stuff within our training for ATAP and other stuff, but no one gets the T9 anymore :(
