Sadler was living in the Hotel Europa in Guatemala City when he was shot....He and Duke Flaglier', i think that's how it was spelled, called and wanted me to find and send Barry some magazines, ammo pouches and a belt for some obscure I think German, sub-machine gun he wanted to use. Mission accomplished and then a month or so later, i got the call from Duke about Sadler.
I only met Barry Sadler a couple of times back in 1984 or 85, he was polite as well as cordial, I mostly communicated with Duke. He and Sadler were putting out some martial arts vids and then things went south. The last time I saw Duke was at a Chinese New Years celebration in Atlanta, must have been around 1986 or so.
My uncle knew Sadler and didn't care for him much, but i don't think my uncle liked anybody.
