Farrier Class, Don't pass up a chance to go

Found this short video of a farrier removing a stone from a horse's hoof. Hoof care is paramount if you want to keep your horses in shape. I have watched a bunch of TV Vet shows and the largest number of horse problems are the hooves. This also goes for the other hoofed critters.

With a little practice, you can be a hero to the locals.

My GGFather was a carriage maker and did his own teams. I still have his nippers.

The attached picture is his shop and the side of his home he built circa 1880-1890

Nippers, a hoof knife, & a rasp are well worth carrying.
